Although summer is about to an end, the weather is still broiling hot and I can’t wait for my favorite season to arrive. So in celebration, I decided to whip up some delicious peach frozen yogurt with the probably last peaches of the year!

I guess the only thing that I miss about summer is the rainbow of its colorful and delicious fruits. Peaches are my favorite summer fruits and I can’t really let them go. If you still have access to the peaches don’t hesitate to make this healthy, easy, and fresh frozen yogurt because you don’t even need an ice cream maker. Although you can make this recipe anytime with any kind of frozen fruit.

How To Make Frozen Yogurt

Making your own homemade frozen yogurt is so easy to do and doesn’t even need an ice cream machine. Follow these easy steps for how to make frozen yogurt.

  1. Cut the peaches in half, remove the pit and cut each half in half so you have four quarters. Place them on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. (You can also use pre-frozen peaches if you have them!)
  1. Place the peach slices into the freezer and freeze for at least 2-3 hours.
  1. Add the frozen peaches to the food processor or a heavy-duty kitchen blender and process until they become evenly crumbly, but not pureed.
  1. Add in the honey, plain Greek yogurt, lime zest, and freshly squeezed lime juice into the food processor, and process again until a smooth, creamy consistency appears about 2-4 minutes. You may need to scrape down the sides once or twice along the way. Fold in some peaches chunks to your desire.
  1. You can serve immediately or transfer to an air-tight container and freeze for a couple of hours for a harder consistency.
